1. Re: [BULL-L] What is your bigest brick wall? [1]
Hi Tony, Church records tell the truth. Don't know much about the English records, but most of the early priests who came to Scandinavia, originated in England or Germany. I'd look in the records for Surry in the time frame you know, also in confirmation records, or didn't they do that back then? Jo Glass
2. Re: [BULL-L] William Bull/MA/1600's [1]
Dear BULL descendents, I recently came across a transcript of a BULL lineage in a published work and I wondered whether it was of any interest to other genealogists working on BULL. It is the pedigree of BULL of Kinghurst Hall near Coleshill, Warwickshire, England, starting circa 1500 with John BULL of Old Radnor and following the family up to about 1750. For genealogists in the USA, there are two members of the family, Stephen BULL (1635-?) who was an attorney at law and went to Carolina USA about

11. Re: [BULL-L] Brickwall: Isaiah Bull [1]
Hi Steve Me again, have you checked the Quaker records??? It is my understanding that most of our BULL's were Quakers & the best for their meetings were the keeping of accurate records. I would check the LDS files here but I have found that some of the information has been supplied by ordinary Joe's like us & not much verification is done. I had plans to go to The Pickering College in Newmarket, Ontario (Quaker Boarding School with a large library of their records) in the next few weeks but my Mother-in-la
12. [BULL-L] Brickwall: Isaiah Bull [1]
My brickwall is Isaiah Bull born abt 1756 in Duchess Co., NY or Rutland Co., VT, he first married Katie Stevens abt 1788, and then married Esther McFall. I am told he is the son of Nathan Bull born abt 1715 in South kingston, Washington Co., RI and died abt 1791 in Rutland, Rutland Co., VT. Have found no marriage records, proof of Nathan as a father, no spouse for Nathan. Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thank You Very Much Stephen
