Looking for any information relating to Elias Butler, born 1847 in either Iowa or Missouri. Elias was the son of Ormand Butler (b 1775 RI) and Anna (Cross) Butler. Simple calculations show that Ormand was at an advanced age when Elias was born. However, this information is reflected in the 1850 MO. census.
