Hi Jim - Just a note to let you know that the African American Genealogy
Society is planning a fundraising bus trip to Reno on Nov. 3, 2001. It
will leave Sacramento from Florin Mall (possibly one northern site) at

ROOT CELLAR - Sacramento Genealogical Society is pleased to present an
all-day seminar featuring Sandra Hargreaves Luebking, a well-known
researcher, lecturer, and writer. The event will be held at Woodcreek
High School in Roseville (Sacramento area) on Saturday, May 11, 2002.
Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. Specific program details will be

A popular lecturer and teacher from the Chicago area, SANDRA HARGREAVES
LUEBKING, BA, and Fellow, Utah Genealogical Association, is co-editor of
The October meeting of ROOT CELLAR is Wednesday, October 10, 6:30 pm at
Citrus Heights Elementary School. Our workshop speaker is Chuck Knuthson;
his topic will be World War I Draft Registration. This is ROOT CELLAR's
birthday month, we will have refreshments and members will be asked to shared
special research tips. In addition, Birthday donations will be taken for the
library to acquire the three-volumne set of the 1890 Great Registers for the
entire state of California.
