1. [CA-SCGS] Snail Mail Address? [1]
Do we have one for Delia Medina Salinas? Is she still a member? (She'd come to Writers for some time, but then was ill. She wrote me last week with her e-mail change, so I wrote back, using the new one. My message was returned with a funny message: The Postfix program : delivery temporarily suspended: transport is unavailable So if her snail mail address is somewhere, I'll use that. I do have 360 Hollywood Way, Apt 304, Burbank, but she might have moved

is it really necessary to post this to the whole message group OR just to the Admin for this mailing List ... I believe Paula has already took care of this ... so why keep draging it out even further ? says a lot when you can't even post your full name :( Ken Hedgpeth - > [Original Message] > From: > To: ; > Date: 8/23/2006 1:39:56 AM > Subject: Re: [CA-SCGS] Snail Mail Address? > > How about not publishing people's PRIVATE informa
9. Re: [CA-SCGS] Snail Mail Address? [1]
I really don't think that individuals addresses should be given on a full distribution of an email. Too many privacy issues abound today. 14. [CA-SCGS] Admin Note: CLOSED TOPIC [1]
All right already, everyone, please let's just stop with the emails about the name and address topic, okay? The topic has been closed for over 24 hours, and apologies have been extended and accepted. I would hate for us to lose subscribers over such a series of emails, and I would also hate to have to put the list on moderation just to stop the thread. Thanks for your consideration. Paula

17. [CA-SCGS] An Adminstrative Note about our Email List [1]
I hope you all received the email sent last week from Rootsweb, announcing that they would soon be changing the software program that manages their mailings. Our list was converted to the new program late last night, and so far it looks like everything has gone smoothly. The only change I've noticed is that the "TO" notation looks a bit different (e.g. ca-scgs-bounces@rootsweb.com; on behalf of; ca-scgs-request@rootsweb.com). Don't worry. It's still our list. That said, I wanted to send out a message to

I too agree that this should not be about finding someone but: How about not publishing people's PRIVATE information on message boards!!! Why don't you just give YOUR address and phone number and your social security number while you are at it, see how you would like it if your private information gets broadcasted all over the place. Think of what you are doing. js
