In case you didn't know, one of George Washington Clark's sons was Walter Stonewall Clark, born 12/22/1865 in Suckertown or Fiddletown; died 1/31/1933 in Fiddletown. His second wife was Mary Stella Arnese; they were married in approx. 1907 and had one daughter, Mabel Clark (born 1909).

The name of the school that was located on highway 88 between Jackson and Pine Grove was "Middle Fork".
A census report that just came out in local paper stated that in 1899 the school had 32 pupils. In the late 30's the school had about 15 pupils.
