Dear Group:
Paradise Gen. Society does initial searches for individuals for $15. If you
send the person's name and any information you do have on the person, and a
SASE, they check all of their indexes and the obits and send what they have.
This is great, especially if you don't have much on a person yet.

Thomas Faulkner d. in Chico, 24 May 1893.
Francis J. Faulkner d. in Chico, 25 Feb 1891.
The CA Room (where I normally do my lookups) does not have the Chico Record
for this time period so ....... I need SKS to lookup their obits and/or do a
Death Certificate transcript for me.
Willing to do similar exchange work here in Sacramento.
Any assistance is most appreciated.

The death certificate will give your parent's first names and possibly their
birthplaces, along with the cemetery where Frank is buried and the funeral

Greetings:
I find no Darley in the 1180 census, 1890 Great Register, or Delayed birth
certificates. None in the Earliest deaths and burials of Butte County. I
also find none in the smaller cemeteries. I specialize in 1850-1905, so the
material at home covers this time frame for the most part.
I can suggest you send $15, and a SASE to:
Paradise Gen. Society
5587 Scottwood Rd
Paradise, CA 95969
They will check all their indexes and obituaries on a single name for this
price. It's a good deal.

Hi--
Could you tell me where I could get info about the
Tull family? Two daughters born in the 1890's were
Alta Muriel Tull and Sade Tull.
My late grandmother told me there were nine children,
and they lived in Honcut.
Thanks,
Donna Neal

Would someone be so kind and tell me where I can obtain an obituary for an
ancestor who died in Butte County, and buried in Shasta County?
Eva Pearl HARVEY who died October 26, 1918, in Butte County. She was 34
years old, and her husband's name was Samuel.
Ralph:
I find your Faulkners in the Early Death and Burial records for Butte County.
I also find A.J., Robert, and Samuel H., but they were from Oroville.
The Faulkner's you mentioned, having died in Chico, are probably buried in

They have excellent records for those who died up to about 1950 or so, then
they get less detailed. They have a full time person for look ups. His name

Hi--
I have more info on the Tull family, so thought I
would re-post my Query.
I am looking for the children of Francis Marion Tull
and Ida Mae Roe. He was born in Illinois in 1846 and
she was born in Kansas in 1858. The 1880 soundex shows
them with a daughter, one year old, named Maud. My
aunt Sade, one of their children, was born about 1886.
They had nine children, and my grandmother,Alta
Muriel, was born in 1896 and was apparently one of
their last. She was born in Honcut, but in 1880 they
were in Colus

There is a Bob Dick buried in the cemetery in an unmarked grave.
I don't find Sophornia with any of those three last names. I checked my
records for Early Deaths and Burials in Butte County 1859-1905 and don't
find her. That doesn't mean she didn't die here, perhaps she just got
missed.
I find a group of about six Dick's in the Gridley Biggs area in the 1880
census. I suggest you check the Gridley Biggs cemetery and the Oroville
Cemetery.

Rose;
I don't find ABEYTA or any name similar to it in the 1880 census index, 1890
Great Register, Delayed birth Registry, or Early Deaths and burials of Butte
County.
If they were here it was after 1900, or at least it appears that way.
