Hi Donna,
Do you have delayed birth certificate info for these people?
1. SWEENEY (maiden name Rusow), Rosie b. 21 May 1904 d. 27 March 1992.
Married in/near Chico a JOHN SWEENEY about 1925. When she died in 1992 in
Oakland, her last name was BRINK, so at some time John Sweeney died and she
married a BRINK. I don't know when John Sweeney died nor where he is
buried.
2. HIPSHER (maiden name Rusow), Myrtle b. 3 May 1908 d. 3 Aug 1985, buried
in Glen Oaks Cem per her obit. About 1933 Myrtle Ann Ruso

Darlene,
Did you visit Paradise Gen. Society when you came here? If not you can
request they do a look up for a flat fee of $15. They will do one surname
with up to four given names. They have marriage index and the 1900 and 1910
census. They have indexes of cemeteries I don't have.
I learned just yesterday that the Chico cemetery records burned in 1883.
Unmarked graves from before 1883 may never be accounted for. They have
reconstructed the old burial records as much as possible from headstones,

Clara,
I looked at a second set of cemetery records I have for Oak Grove. This one is not as complete as my newer set, but they don't go by alphabetical order. Lizzie Sehorn is right in the middle of the group of McMillan's. I also see a notation that she shares a headstone with W.W. McMillan.

In the voter records 1884-1890 I find Frederick Wichman, Johann Wichmann and George D. Wiechman, two from Germany and
Hi group!
Most of you know me, as I am a look up volunteer for Butte County. I'm in the mood to do look ups, but have no questions to try to answer. For those of you who I've done look ups for before, the only newish information I have is for cemeteries near the Butte/Yuba county line.
For those of you who are newer to the list....I have mostly information from before 1905. The exception to that is cemetery information, and Delayed birth records. I collect cemetery information for the older cemeteries t
Donna,
Just wondering how extensive your records are of Wyandotte Cemetery? I
have many family members buried there and I do have info on them if it
is not documented. The last names are Snyder, Swinney and Murphy

Hi Donna,
I have just recently started doing my family history and have literally
Clara,
I find the family in the 1860 Butte Co. census. Of course Lizzie isn't born yet. Let me know if you want that info. Census info. is so easy to get now. I find the family in 1880 in Oroville, Lizzie is 17 then.
I don't find a Delayed Birth Record for her. She would have died before that started.
Do you know if she ever married? I'm assuming she didn't since you don't mention it.
The only McMillan I find in Oroville cemetery is George 1857-1908.
I will also assume you know about the seven McMil
Crystal,
I do not charge for look ups I do from home.

Pat is of great help. She enjoys doing look ups. I have an index for the cemetery, but it cuts off at 1905.The cemetery records burned at one time, and they reconstructed them starting from headstone information. They have asked families who have ancestors buried there to give them information from their research. Sometimes all you get is the headstone information. Someti
Hello,
I wonder if there is someone who is going to the library who might be able to
check on an obituary. In return I would be willing to check out any obituary
info for you here in the Norfolk, VA area.
Here is the information:
Alfred K. DOLEN - died August 19, 1995 in Chico, Butte - Ca.
If there is any help you can provide, I would sincerely appreciate it.
Jan Dool, Norfolk, VA
Darlene,
One last thing. If I run across Gline, I will go to the Butte County site
of cagenweb.com and check the queries for Gline. I suggest you post there.
I rarely forget a name I research.

James,
I found in the 1880 census, which I assume you already have,
McIlvain
George T. 24 CA
Nellie S. 19 Can
Living in or near Chico.
I hoped I might find a voter record 1884-1890, but did not.
Also didn't find a probate index before 1880, delayed birth record, newspaper
vitals 1899, or death record before 1905.
I also found no McIlvain burials. My index for Chico cemetery cuts off at
1908.
Sorry I wasn't more help.
