Hi, Barrie
I have the text of a talk given in 1907 at Spean Bridge by a Donald Cameron
who was born at Dochanassie about 1840. It tells a little about the folk of
Dochanassie, but only mentions his own ancestors - his father was Duncan and
his gr grandfather was Duncan Mor. Duncan and his wife, Sarah Robertson were
the only Camerons listed at Glenfintaig (Dochanassie) in 1841. Please let me
know your address if you would like a copy.

I currently have a book home from our library named "The Camerons" by
John Stewart of Ardvorlich which has several trees. One in
particular shows how the Camerons of Erract tie in with the Camerons
of Clunes. There are a number of descendants belonging to both
parties now living in New Zealand and Australia and I wonder if you could
share with us your ancestors name

Would like to hear from anyone who knows of Sen Simon CAMERON's roots. The
county of CAMERON, PA was named for him. I believe he was born in early
1800's in Dauphin County, PA. He might be a relative of mine. My CAMERONS
lived in Dauphin County at the same time but previously went by
KEMMERER/KAMMERER. My family also lived in Lancaster County, PA for a while.
