Maybe someone could help me with this. I am still trying to find out info on Levander Cameron. There is a Mary Cameron that is listed as head of household in the 1810 Marion Co., SC census, Levander Cameron is listed on the same census and I figured they must be related somehow. I have just received this info: In the 1790 SC census index there is a Mary Cammeron living in Georgetown Co., which I am told that Marion Co., SC came from. Also on the 1790 census is listed a William and Joseph Fraser

13. Fw: [CAMERON] Susan A. Camron/Cameron [1]
HI Jean, There could be a connection here, with the original ones from SC, as this is where I think this line starts. That is oral history, not proven. My Cameron family could have originated in SC, then to NC, TN, and AL. There was a large concentration of Scotch/Irish in NC & SC. from 1750 on.
