Yes, the location is in the general area, between

HI, Here are my North Carolina Camerons. I do not know if we are connected but I do have an Archbald around the years of yours.

HI Liz,
Thanks for the response, and the Camerons are
a mystery for me, as I only have one generation.
It was said in family history, that they came from
South Carolina, but not proven yet, but I spend much
of my time working on McMinn, and did find a missing
GGGrandfather, who married Susan Cameron, after an
aunt had searched for about 35-40 years.
Name spellings do vary, and throws one off path

You might want to check out Indian rolls and records. By the way, if you
have Indian blood I was under the impression you could qualify for some
things like funds for college, etc. I don't know but it might pay to check
that area.

I am trying to find any information on Alexander Cameron, born between 1891 and 1893 to Donald and Helen (Nellie) (Watson) Cameron and his descendants. I believe he was born in Islington, Middlesex, England where his parents were married in 1891 and his older brother, Donald Stewart Cameron was born in 1893. The two brothers are shown in the 1901 Scottish census as living in Edinburgh with their grandparents, Alexander and Janet (Baxter) Cameron and their younger children. I have Cambrons buried in Bell Factory, Madison County, AL. Is that location
close to yours?
I also have newspaper clippings of my Cambron family living in Lincoln
County, Tn and visiting relatives in New Market.

HI Liz,
I have done some investigating, and am recalling
from memory too, that Flintville, TN is in Franklin County
not Lincoln County.
Franklin County and Lincoln County, both, border
Madison County, AL, but at different locations on the North.
Franklin County,TN borders Madison County AL, above
New Market, and from investigating, Cameron Cemetery
is on Bell Factory Rd. south of New Market.
Bell Factory was a factory, processing cotton, and
is located on the Flint River. Th
Jim,
I am a descendant of Henry Cameron that settled near Woodville, Jackson
County, Alabama, sometime around the early 1830's, and also lived in
Marshall and Madison Counties at different times. I am familiar with the
Austin-Cameron Cemetery in the northern part of Jackson County, but I am
unaware of a Cameron Cemetery in Madison County. Could you please give me an
idea of where it may be located.
Thank you,
John W. Cameron

HI ListMom,
The Gatewayed Messages that you are allowing,
are a nuisance, and normally give no use to the List.
These are usually sent by those who have no
intentions of joining the List, and if activity is your
concern, generate it on your own.
I am at present a List Manger of 2 Lists, and
have now rejoined this one, and am speaking from
experience.
Thanks,

HI Folks,
I'm still working on brick walls, Cameron's of Alabama,
were in Marshall County, Alabama by 1850, and Madison
county by mid 1850.
There is a Cameron Cemetery in Madison County, but have
no information, but do have a location.
I work mainly on McMinn ancestors, but have a GGrandmother,
Susan Cameron, born in AL, no parents listed, but 2 brothers,
George and William.
Thanks,

There are probably many of us could help. But it might be time-wasting in most cases
since the name is common and over the hundreds of years history in that place there
could have been a large no. of Henry/ Harry CAMERONs.

HI John,
The Cameron Cemetery that I referenced, is in
Northwest Madison County, near a community of
New Market, in Hurricane Valley.
I want to also correct myself, my generation that
