14. Re: [CAMP-L] Paulding Co., GA CAMPs [1]
Carole, A A, and Larry, I hope you all don't mind if I reply to the discussion about the Camps. A few weeks ago I received info from a lady who had purchased a box of records on the Camps. I have ancestor chart of the following: 1 .Camp, Raymond Edward b 10-24-1927, Carroll Co, Ga, m Aug 16, 1947 His Father 2. Camp, John Thomas JR. b Oct 15, 1882, Clayton Co GA, m Dec 24, 1902, d May 23, 1951, Douglas Co, Ga Wife of John Thomas JR. Minnie Carmen Morris, b July 28, 1883, in Douglas Co, Ga, d
15. [CAMP-L] Civil War Pictures [1]
Check out this web site, there are 11 Camp photo's that I will be putting that information (not the photos) on the military page on the Camp web site. Using this database you can see if a photograph exists of your Civil War

I am not sure. It seems like every family had a Mary, but I am not sure of my Starling's siblings. Sorry. Linda
18. [CAMP-L] Polk Co. GA CAMPs [1]
Larry, This is getting really weird. I have thought it a bit odd that the CAMP's from my father's family and the BREWER's of my mother's side must have a connection - but now we've added a new connection with the PARHAM's also from my mother's side. I am descended from James CAMP (son of John and Mary TARPLEY CAMP) married to Mary BERRY, through John CAMP, James Seaborn CAMP, John Thomas CAMP, William Robert CAMP and my dad James Irvan CAMP. My mother's ggggrandfather was Joel BREWER of Polk County, Georg
19. [CAMP-L] Frances Marion Camp [1]
I'm unfortunately at work and not near my research but, I'm so excited about finding this list that I would like to ask a question now. My Grandmother NEE Frances Marion Camp (b. 1899-1900) married Pleman Robert Johnston around 1920. Her mother was a Hairston. Do you have the ancestry (Camp) of my grandmother already? Fran Johnston
20. Re: [CAMP-L] Re: Camp Family [1]
Someone asked awhile back if Lewis C. and Nathan F. Camp, sons of Starling Camp and Mary "Polly" Fish, had died in the War Between the States. According to the Muster Roll of Co. "B" 30th Reg. GA Vol. Inf. ,Army of TN, CSA for Butts Co. GA both did. Lewis is listed as "killed at Chickamauga Sept. 19, 1863" and Nathan "killed at Murfreesboro Dec. 7, 1864." Their half brother ,Willis F. Jarrell was listed as "died in service". I have his date of death as June 28, 1864, according to the Starling Camp Bible.
21. Re: [CAMP-L] James Camp of Gwinnett County GA [1]
Hi, Al, Thanks for your observation. Have you or anyone you know of really researched our James? I felt that the Mann' coverage was sketchy, but didn't know if that was due to a lack of time or sources. My daughter is a student at UGA and I frequently drive through Jefferson, which I think has pretty good records of the area. Any suggestions of where to start?
