1. Kintyre [1]
Hello to All, I thought the following site would interest many members of the Campbell list. The current pages contain copies of many historical documents from the Kintyre region, for instance, The Argyll Rebellion of 1685. This concerns the attempt by the Earl of Argyll to oust James II ( I know JII of United Kingdom). 4. Campbell-L Temporarily Down [1]
Hi, Folks, I received this message from Michael Cooley, the system administrator of Genealogy Online, where the Campbell-L mailing list is housed. The system is to be moved to its own T1 line, so there will be a time when your messages won't get through. He doesn't specify the exact time the system will be down - he's in California, so I'd expect it to be down from 6 pm to about midnight, Pacific Standard Time. Or thereabouts. :-) Just wanted to forwarn you that you might get a bounce during the move.

After all the activity about "Alonzo Campbell" last week, I thought I might try to start another fire storm about the name "Walter Campbell". So here is what I either know or think that I know, if anyone can
