ALLAN, James C. DSO, MBE, CD Col. (Ret'd) James C. Allan peacefully passed
away at the Chemainus Health Care Unit on August 5, 2007. James Allan was
born on 12 December 1914 in Fort Macleod, Alberta, where his father, a
member of the Royal North West Mounted Police, was stationed. In September
1939 when war was declared, he enlisted in the Calgary High

I now believe he died in Lethbridge, Alberta. I found his sister's obituary
in The Lethbridge Herald, May 22, 1953. Mention is made that she was buried
in the family plot, Mountain View Cemetery. I just got in from research and
haven't had the opportunity to check out the cemetery listing. I'm still
looking for the obituary.

1887. I do not know her maiden name as it is not on her death
