My ancestors of the surname COSGRIFF came over from Ireland to Montreal
during the potato famine.
They arrived at Montreal and migrated to Burlington or South Burlington

How do I start reseraching their arrival in Montreal?

Did your Cosgriff migrate to the Vermont as soon as they arrived? There
were quite a few Cosgriff who stayed in Montreal and changed their name to
Cosgrove.

Hi List
Tonight only, I can look up marriages from St. Ann's, Montreal/Griffintown,
1873-1899 and St. Patrick's, Montreal, marriages, 1873-1904. I need to have
the name of both the bride and the groom and the time frame.

Hi Mary,
How does this fit into the Brownrigg-Tierney line? My computer crashed this
