Thanks, Maureen! It at least tells me that they don't list the children of the deceased, and that is a bit disappointing, but I think I'll order the record I need, anyway!
again, thanks!

Hello all,
I am interested in finding records of the renting or buying land in Montreal from the Sulpicians during the time of 1845-1850. Are there records available? Any ideas on how to begin to find where in Ireland a person came from who is known to have come from Ireland to Montreal during that time period?
Thanks

Hi all:
Not to get off topic, but the census person was here today. We live in a
rural area of Ontario and we are fortunate enough to get a person and the
long form. He tells me that the new question about having your info
released in 92 years is being answered with a yes about 50% of the time.
Rather sad, I thought. After 92 years, who really cares about your personal
information?!
