Looking for any information on the EDWARDS' families of Cardiff. They
lived in Cardiff abt 1881-1901. William EDWARDS lived lot 32/conc 6,
and died there in 1897. I am seeking his place of burial. Also, his
sons George Edwards, Levi Edwards, Samuel Edwards and daughter Emma
Jane Edwards (William Smith) and their families, all lived there
during the same time. Three of George's children died in 1895 of
diphtheria and I have no burial place for them either. They were
recorded as Baptist and prior to that, Met
I just received a message telling me my long-lost great grandfather, Charles
DAVIS, shows up the 1881 census of Snowdon Twp. He died 30 May 1992 and is
buried in Gelert Cemetery which I think is in the Haliburton/Minden area.
Could someone please tell me if a transcription of stones or burial records
are available for this cemetery and also if there is a local Township or
County History book which may mention the surname DAVIS ?
Thank you,
Dave Ingram

James and Martha Ann were on the 1871 Fenelon census, on 1881 and 1891 Glamorgan twp. census. James died in 1893, Martha Ann after 1901 as she was on the 1901 census with a George and Martha Bouk(?).
John was on the 1881 and 1891 Glamorgan Twp. census. I have not as yet found a record of his death.

Fellow genealogists,
Have you ever used the Internet to learn about genealogy methods and resources? Taken a genealogy course online? Read some 'how to' articles? Then I would like to hear from you.
I am an Australian Ph.D. student who is currently writing a book chapter for an academic Virtual Learning Environment publication - my chapter is about using the Internet for genealogical education. I would therefore love to hear from you, fellow genealogists, about any Internet-based content you've used f

I can't for the life of me find your name but you found my Baker family in the 1901 census. Was wondering if you know what page, etc. as I've been through the on-line database for the 1901 census and I can't find them in Dysart county..... that is where they were isn't it?
