Dear Listers:
I have recently discovered a Bertha FRAMPTON on the 1901 census who is listed as adopted. She is
living with a family named FALLS. I am wondering how to go about finding out if she is the sister
of my husband's grandfather, Richard James FRAMPTON.
I would like to know where to look for records, etc.
Thanks,
Karen Haffermehl
Karen:
How old was she on the census and was she born in Ontario ?
I do free look-ups at the Ontario Archives for birth, marriage, death and Loyalist land Petitions. I
do charge $0.25 cents per copy plus postage because I am on a disability pension and can't afford to
do it absolutely free. Here are the years that are covered by the Ontario Archives records:
BIRTHS 1869 to 1903
DEATHS 1869 to 1928
MARRIAGES 1869 to 1928
Kindest
