I'm stuck on my mom's side of the family with a Mary (sometimes called Virginia--but maybe that's a different person) CANNON born about 5 Mar 1825, married in 1851 in Dorchester Co., MD to Martin W.FOXWELL (1816-1882) and died 28 Oct 1884. Thanks, Margie! This was very interesting. I would like to find out more about Rasha and his grandfather, William as well as his Uncle Henry. I haven't persued the Darlington Cannons. My Cannons are from the Laurens Co., SC area and what is now Greenwood Co., SC. There are Cannons also in Spartanburg, SC and Newberry, SC, which are on North and South sides of Laurens Co.
