I do research, and write stories about old military plane crash sites. In my research, I came across a civilian crash that occurred on March 11, 1961, near the town of Quincy. The aircraft was a Cessno 210, registration number N6588X. Weather is given as the cause. My source says the wreckage is scattered and unmarked

The few available sources report that he arrived in California from Cornwall in 1849, and died in Oakland in 1905. Dear all This is my first posting to the list. On 28 October 1856 Samuel YERSIN (tanner), born 1832 in the French speaking part of Switzerland, died in Spanish Flat, California. The document does not give further details re the precise location of this town. At this time there were at least 2 Spanish Flat in CA : one in El Dorado Co. and one in Plumas Co. (south east of La Porte/Rabbit Creek). I have not yet been able to determine in which of these counties he lived/died. Two miners, also living in Spanish

In July, 1997 NARA established an updated fee schedule for services provided to the public.
