Can anyone identify the Joseph Carpenter who married Anna
Spencer, daughter of Capt. Reuben Spencer and Elizabeth Snyder
of Fishkill, Dutchess County New York.
They married 24 May 1799 and the marriage was recorded in the
Poughkeepsie Journal in June of that year.
