I believe he was Norwegian. He lived in Sacramento in 1939 and changed his name to Byron Wolfe. Married Naomi Greenup in 1940 and had two boys, Corby, (1942) and Gunner Jim (1943). They divorced in 1945, Byron remarried and had two more "Wolfes".
