My Steele-Taylor relatives lived in the Galt-Clay area of California during that
time. Could there be a connection?
Jane Steele came from England and married George Nathan Makee in California. One
of their children was Fannie Jane Makee who married James Oscar Taylor. They had
three children: Mary Ann (Marnie) Taylor b 10/1872, Henry M. b 1/5/1875 and Harry
Taylor b 1881.
Thanks,
Diana

Could not find any obit in Sacramento Bee. Citrus Hills doesn't ring a bell,
could it be Citrus Heights? But that would still be Sacramento County. I
didn't check Placer papers for him. Sandra

to a long move. How do the research libraries rate? Would I have access to records across the US or just the
immediate area? Are there very many genealogical societies in the area? I have quite a few counties to research in CA,
but also need access to records from mos

To all listers
Thanks to a generous gift from our own Ronald Morgan I now have John F. Kennedy High School ( Sacramento )
yearbooks from 1968 ( first year ) to 1984 with the exception of 1972. I am already on the list for look ups for 1969-1971,
the years I attended J.F.K. and am now adding 1968 and 1973 thru 1984. I appreciate this gift and hope to find many
family connections for those of you who are looking.
Thank you Mr. Morgan, these will be a very important research tool.
