Hi! I'm new to this list, and I'm trying to research Gertrude PHILLIPS (21 June 1894- ? April, 1970) in San Bernardino (city) at 3540 Bronson Street.
Phillips (I believe) was Gertrude's married name. I believe she was adopted, but I don't have the adoptive name. I am researching her biological family!!! If anyone out there has info or a connection to her children I have MUCH info to share!! If this all rings a bell, please write.

HELP!! Is anyone on the list near the San Bernadino courthouse that they could access a probate record for me? I did the online search in the county, and spoke to someone there. Everything must be done by application, and I'm just not sure I need the records that they have in the file. There is also no genealogical society or group in the area. I've had some luck confirming the existence of a particular file by phone
but they were fairly recent cases. Your 1947 case may require a letter and
a search fee or a visit to the Hall of Records in San Bernardino.
