I am searching for the descendants of Frank Barron married to Alice Shireman. Children were Frank Ray and Stella A. Frank Ray died in 1971, Redlands Ca. he was married to Lenore Reynolds. Thier children are Florence, Frank and Keith. I believe the family is still in the Redlands area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 2. RE: [CASanBernadino] COUNTY DEATH RECORDS [1]
Nice set of suggestions there Barb -- well laid out too. Sadly due to some paranoid, pinheaded legislator up in Sacramento, more of our rights as citizens have had to be dismissed in the name of 'security measures' and various boogeyman issues. The small but growing criminal element in the land once again takes priority precedence over the freedoms of the majority! Genealogical treasure-hunting used to be most fruitful in California, in that most of the counties allowed easy perusal through the public
3. Seward Tremaine [1]
Hi Everyone: Would someone be kind enough to look up the obituary of Seward Tremaine who died May 26, 1965 at San Bernardino, CA. He was the son of Seward Elliot and Abegail (Musselwhite Leavings) Tremaine. He would have been about 97 years of age at the time of his death. Thanks Gail gail.judge@3web.net
4. county death records [1]
I found on ancestry.com that a Harry William Friend died in San Bernardino County with a death date of 25 Sept. 1942. I would like to get this obit using interlibrary loan but since the index does not give me a town I am wondering if there was a genealogical society in the area that may be able to find out what city he died in. Thanks so much. Lorelee~Oregon
5. COUNTY DEATH RECORDS - LORELEE [1]
First, the only sure way to find where he lived at his death is to order a death certificate from the county recorder. The certificates are now $18 plus you must send a proof of identification prepared by a notary. You can go to the San Bernardino County website and get details. Viewing death certificates on microfilm at the County Recorder's office like we used to do is not longer an option available to us, as new laws have restricted the public's use of them due to identity theft. Next, t

7. Lookup for James O. BENNETT [1]
Would someone please look up the obituary for James Otho BENNETT, who died in San Bernardino on 8 Dec 1846? He was born in Indiana on 15 Jan 1866, son of James Richmond BENNETT and Adelaide Janett "Ada" COON. Send reply to me at justinlng1918@mindspring.com. Thank you for your kindness.

The younger generation are too into their cell phones, video games, iPods and other electronic gadgets to worry about family history, and the geezers that came before them. Their attention spans equate to the speed of light. Alas I'm not sure it was all that much different in times past :: only the toys seem to change. Their parents aren't much different when you get right down to it. Most busy themselves with mercurial stock portfolios and fighting their way through ever-widening traffic jams, just t
9. Re: [CASanBernadino] COUNTY DEATH RECORDS - LORELEE [0.987834]
Thanks to all of you who answered my plea trying to get an obit or death record. So far in Oregon we are still able to go to the state archives and for .25 make a copy of a death cert. as long as it's over 50 years old. You can also email them and they will mail you a copy and think out of state is more then in state but right off hand I can't remember the charge. I tried to use the online form for a death cert. in Ca and when I put I was other" it would not let me finish getting the document.
