My father had a half sister that he last saw in the mid to late 1940's. We have just learned she died in El Cajon, San Diego, California on 26 Dec 1987. We would like to find an obituary for her that might list her 3 daughters and/or any other family who might still be alive. My father died on 5 Jan 1994, but I would be interested in locating my new cousins and other family members. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Ed Scriven

Hi, I would like to know if a Minister Clark and also called Dr.Clark rings any bells. They lived together in 29 Palms Ca in the 60's. They had a daughter named Marilyn. Minister Clark was either her foster parent or she was adopted. Marilyn went to highschool in 29 Palms area and graduated in 68 or 69. Does anyone on this site know the current cost for a death certificate from the State? Also, does anyone have access to the statewide California index of marriages? I need a marriage for my grandaunt, but I'm not sure if it is in San Diego County. The groom's surname was WOODS, but we don't have a 1st name, marriage date, or marriage place. However, we do know it was between Nov of 1918 and Dec of 1923. The bride's maiden name was Lucille BOWETER. She may have married Mr. WOODS under the name of THOMPS

Hi list! I am researching the surname Presler, specifically descendants of William Presler b. 9Sept1817 and d. 14May1910 in Glen Elder, Kansas. I have traced the wife of a descendant to Chula Vista, CA. Pauline (Hake) Presler was the wife of Hayes Presler. Pauline died at the Chula Vista Inn 13Oct1995 at the age of 104. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to obtain a copy of her obituary to send to me and if there are any children or grandchildren out there who would be interested in the family

Dear Karen, For an obit. that recent, (I checked it myself) you can search online at www.union-trib.com (Go to the links of "Todays News" then "Archives" then perform your search.
