Hi...I would be interested in receiving a copy of these letters. Interested surname is Gibson. The 1880 census shows a Joseph Gibson, 46, saloon keeper, in Sears Twp., Sierra, CA, however, I know other members of this Gibson family also were in the area. Thank you.

In one of my old family letters, there is a one-sentence reference to Tony Lavezzola who resided in Downieville in 1903. He gathered donations totaling $88.75 for a destitute Rutishauser family.
