They raised children in Fauquier co., Va, including Lucy Proctor b. abt 1858 Fauquier co., Va m. to John Willis Gill. Possible siblings of Susan are Harriet & James with possibility of mother being Margaret given on Harriet Martin's marriage application to John? Allen. ANYTHING is GREATLY appreciated.
6. [CHEROKEE-SURNAMES] Runnels/Reynolds, Mashburn, Cox [1]
I'm not sure if I am doing this correctly. We have been told that we have Cherokee blood on my granddaddy's side. His ancestor's come from NC through TN to MO and AR. Names listed are Reynolds, which could also be Runnels, Mashburn, and Cox (this lady's name was Vashti Cox.) Could any of these names be Cherokee surnames? Thank you, Chris L. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
