If it is of any help according to the 1896 Kelly's Directory: 51 Frodsham Street - Red Lion Inn, John Davies My own vague recollection of Frodsham Street, which I last visited about five years ago, was that it still retained many old buildings and so even if it is not the Red Lion today the building might still be

11. RE: [CHS] What is 'mimas'? [1]
The mimas refers to the old URL of the Cheshire Parish Register Project - http://www.mimas.ac.uk/~mfscprdb/ The site no longer carries the database, but is still open for information. The new URL for the database is http://www.cheshireparish.man.ac.uk/ and is still in the building stage. Both sites are, amongst other BMD sites, listed on http://rmhh.co.uk/freebmd.html -- Rodney HALL Heywood, Lancashire Ut sementem feceris, ita metes As you sow, so shall you reap ~~~~~~~~~~~~ rmh@rmhh.co.uk http://rmhh.co

Then another letter, usually a 'rarer' one, is chosen instead. In the case of a state with two words -- eg Rhode Island -- the abbreviation is the initial letter of the two words -- in this case RI. 21. Re: [CHS] TRELFA, SANT, WALKER, DALE, NYLAND [1]
Hi Alan We are trying to put together all the TRELFA's I think they will all tie together in the mid 1700???. I was advised to check out www.cheshire.gov.uk/recoff/home.htm re unusual surnames and they could not find the origin of the name. There are 4 wills from 1810-1825 that I have sent for, but from Aussie patience is a virtue. I would be grateful for any information on any of the lines connected to TRELFA's Pre or present. What I have on the TRELFA's or any of the associated lines you are welcome to,
