Hello Laurel,
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond to this lookup but we have
had some illness in the family which has taken me away from my research.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look not only in CO but also in
CA for Louis. It didn't list a daughter who I believe is his but it did
prove he was born in Germany which is a big plus for me.
Best Regards,
LK Miller

Could SKS please look in the 1910 or 1920 Denver Co. census (or that of surrounding counties) for a reference to WILLIAM STEWART SMITH. In 1910 he would have been 30 or 31 years old, born in Leeds, England. I do not know the name of his wife but there would have been a young son and a baby girl named DOROTHY ALICE. Obviously all ages would be ten years greater in the 1920 census. Unfortunately I have no address for them.
I would appreciate learning all information given about the family, including addr
I checked 1900 and 1910 census with no luck.
There were a couple of Valentines in NY and PA. How about a little more info,
i.e. DOB or age, place of birth....also any alternate spellings?
I can try again with more info

Thanks so much for your lookup. This is indeed the right family of WILLIAM
SMITHs and I'm indebted for the information.
Might anyone else have access to the 1910 index and be able to do a lookup
there? I am trying to identify just how early the Smiths were living in
Denver.
Thank you.

Thanks so much for the lookup for Millard Baird. I wonder where his wife
was? I am not sure if the Charles Baird is his son or not. I haven't been able
to find anything on him (Millard) after 1880, until the teens. Charles could
be his son. I know Millard's first wife was born in Tennessee. Would you mind
sending me the info on Charles Baird & family?
Thanks again for the information on Miilard Baird.
