Surname: Miller, Webb, Fritz
-------------------------
I am looking for any of the family of David Armstrong Miller and Annie
Catherine Webb. They lived in the Longmont/Brighton/Denver area. I know
at least two of them lived in Denver County. There were six children in
the family, Joseph, Lowell, Mattie, Frank, Arthur, and Harvey. The children
were born in Shambaugh, Iowa in the late 1880's
I saw your posting about a Skeen family. There was a Mrs. Skeen that lived
on Zenobia, in the 2900 block, who had a daughter Janice born in about 1934.
Janice graduated from North Denver High School in 1952 or 1953. We lived up
the street and my sister was her friend. I seem to remember that Janice got
married soon after her graduation, and that her mother moved to California
sometime after that. I know this is rather vague, but maybe it will connect
somehow.

Judy,
I checked the Denver City Directory and Business Directory for Ballard.
For 1927 thru 1929 he is listed as a barber, same as 1926.
Of note in 1927 he is listed as Leo E.
He is not in the Business directory for
1930
1931
1937.
I also checked the Colorado state marriages and found nothing under L. E, L.
R., or Leo.
Regards,
Rita

Hello, Susan!
>From it's founding in 1859 until 1901 Denver was in Arapahoe County. In 1901
Denver separated from Arapahoe and became, "The City and County of Denver."
In recent years Denver has flowed over it's boundaries into Adams, Arapahoe,
Jefferson, Douglas, and now the new county, Broomfield.
I hope this helps.
Happy hunting!
