I am looking for Combs Genealogy.
Alvin Hockett married Florence Elizabeth Combs. Her parents were Thomas
Combs b. 24 Nov. 1839 Died 20 Dec. 1902 & Martha Jane Johnston b. 30 Nov.
1837 Died 24 Nov 1888. the Johnstons were southerners & owned slaves.
Thomas fought in Civil War on the Union side. Therefore their families
didn't like each other. Thomas & Martha Jane are buried at St. Johns
Cemetery in St. Johns, Washington (at top of the hill) alongside 3 of their
