In the 1930 Mancos municipal election, all of the candidates on the printed
ballot were on the Citizens-Taxpayers ticket. However, a number of the 164
who voted supported write-in candidates. W.E. Faris was the only candidate
on the ballot for mayor (two-year term) but 40 people wrote in F.C. Hallar's
name. For the six two-year trustee terms, there were six candidates on the
