Deleting the program will not affect your WIN XP or any of your other
programs.
The program came from the installation disc for a scanner you do not
even have any more. The program
Ok. Thanks...

When I purchased this computer a few years ago, VISTA would not let me set
up the two email address like I use to with WindowsXP. I had to create two
accounts for each email address.

Ann (and everyone) thanks! Even though I feel pretty sure now that this version of Textbridge Classic is not being used on this computer and I can safely remove it, I think it would behoove me to make sure I have all my installation CD's at hand when I delete it, including the XP program. It will be about Monday before I have a chance to do it, but I will certainly post what happens. Meanwhile, I hope you all have a wonderful Father's Day weekend.

Hi Suzy,
Thanks for the response. When I look at my email messages, it does say
Windows Mail on top of the screen.

You can send mail as this message made it to the list twice.

Evelyn, when you said Mustek, it rang a bell. I bought one of those scanner
when I was running Window 3.1 or Windows 95. I looked around and I still
have that installation CD. The CD has Text Bridge installation on it also.
I will install Text Bridge this afternoon and see if I can find that dll
file that you need. I will let you know later.

1. Do not reply to an existing thread and start a new subject.
2. Tell what the make and model of your computer, what operating system
you are using/
3, Why did you restore

I can not send mail due to a previous error. I have looked everywhere for a

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by
the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'Pat Reeve'. Subject 'Fw: I'm a

I sent the message in question from my AOL account not OE I have changed Pat

I don't usually use address book on OE and won't again. She has a new

I'm not sure I understand Robert, but am wondering if that's something they fixed within Windows Mail since then. I know on my laptop (purchased beginning of September) there were a few small issues with Windows Mail that have since been fixed. I also have Vista on my PC (purchased in February) and have never had a problem there. I pop four of my email accounts into my Windows mail on my laptop. I wish I knew how to help you.

Bob,
Thanks again. I did contact HP Techical Help before I posted on this list.
Their reply was that they didn't have that .dll and I should contact
MSWindows, etc. In other words, "it ain't our problem." After I read the
googled info I realized that most of them had a subheading of Mustek. Way
back
Bob,
Thanks. My concern was that if I went ahead and used Add Remove Programs it
might affect being able to access and read some of the old documents that I
transferred from Windows 95 to XP when we bought this computer, even though
it said "rarely used" and "last used 12-25-2001" (which was when I
transferred so much stuff from the old to the new computer.) I read all the
information on Help on the TextBridge program and it indicated TextBridge
worked in tandem with HP on the scanning and printing.
There is a forum for discussion of Vista and its related mail application. Read some discussion here - you may find an answer (I don't use Vista):

Hi List,
I have a Dell computer with VISTA OS, Windows Mail, and Internet Explorer. My question is...... I have two email accounts that I use. With VISTA, I had to create two separate accounts for each email. To check my email, I need to go back and forth to each account which is a pain. Isn't there a way I can have both my emails going to just one account?
Any help, comments, and suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks,
robert
