1. RE: CORBIN - LIGHTFOOT - ARMISTEAD - DORSEY - LEE etc [1]
Bellinda, Those are great questions. I am sure somewhere I have more info on the Lee & Burwell lines of which you speak. I am a descendant of Hancock Lee through his daughter Anna Lee Armistead. I have limited info on Mary Armistead entered into my data banks. I know she married Philip Lighfoot sometime ca. 1720. I also know they had a son named Armistead Lightfoot b. 1739, died Sep 1771 and married 28 Sep 1759 to Anne Burwell, daughter of Lewis Burwell & Mary Willis. One of the books I used on this
2. Re: Daniel Corbin in Licking Co. [1]
Michael, I was looking over some old emails and something finally clicked. I am looking for a Daniel Corbin born about 1843 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. A lot of the family moved to Ohio. I have several of them in Summit County after the Civil War. Do you have any information on the parents of your Daniel Corbin in Licking County? I know it's a long shot, but we can always hope : )! Does anyone else recognize this person? There is also a Gilbert and a John in this family that I have "lost". I hav
3. RE: Mosby's Rangers---Forty-Third Battalion Virginia Calvary [1]
Jeff, I have no research claims as of yet. I have been trying to connect the Culpeper Co., VA Corbins with the Fauquier Co., VA with the Lancaster Co., VA Corbins for a while since I have all three lines in my family. My dad's line is from Culpeper, my mom's from Lancaster & my husband's from Fauquier! His mother's maiden name was Corbin as a matter of fact. I do have the coat of arms on my web site. So I think you will enjoy that! Please visit and let me know what you think. Also, have you contacted
4. Re: Mosby's Rangers---Forty-Third Battalion Virginia Calvary [1]
Hi Tricia: I haven't visited your web site yet, but I will in the near future. What do you base your claim that these two men "John W. Corbin and Lemuel A. Corbin" as being connected to Henry Corbin Line? I would be curious to see some of this information that you might have. I think that you might be right on Lemuel Corbin but I think you are wrong on John W. Corbin. Jeff Corbin

11. RE: Mosby's Rangers---Forty-Third Battalion Virginia Calvary [1]
Jeff, I believe these Corbin men were cousins of my Corbin line. My Corbins (as well as my husband's line) were from Virginia. Mine were from the famous Henry Corbin, Esq. line. I am writing to you because I have a photo of "The Last Mosby's Rangers Reunion" however, this was in 1919 in Manassas, VA. It is on my web site under my link to Ball, DeBell families on a link in the middle of the page called "Mosby's Rangers." Please visit and let me know what you think. 15. ARUNDELL/ARUNDEL - HOWARD - LIGHTFOOT - DORSEY [1]
Tricia.... One more set of questions..... Regarding ARUNDEL/ARUNDELL/HOWARD/DORSEY/LIGHTFOOT families...... Do you know any family relationships between the ARUNDELL and LIGHTFOOT families? At the Anglican church at Stoke Breurne, Northamptonshire, England where Reverend Richard LIGHTFOOT ministered and where he and his wife, Jane JONES are buried, next to them are buried a Mr. and Mrs. ARUNDELL which would, most likely, seem to denote they were, probably, related. This LIGHTFOOT line is that of t
