I am looking for any info on my great-great grandmother Betsey Jane Cornell. She was born about 1874 in Wisconsin. Her first husband was named Asa Gorham. They lived in Ontario, Bad Axe (now Vernon) Co. Wisconsin. I do not know if she was widowed or divorced, but she later (Janurary 1899) married my great-great grandfather, James Patrick Sullivan. She was widowed in 1906 and moved from Ontario WI to Ft. Dodge Iowa. I believe she married a third time to unknown Burke. On the 1930 census she appears living in

Daniel CORNWELL was born ca 1770 in NJ., maybe the son of Mary Coleman & John Cornwell. He married a Phoebe in NJ. She could be the daughter of Hannah Meeker & John Edwards. Three Cornwell boys, possible brothers, Daniel, David and William came to Clermont Co., Ohio in abt. 1805. Daniel and Phoebe had eight children, the boys were David, Jonathan, William and my lines George. Jonathan married Eunice Tompkins, William married Nancy Waters. I am interested in obtaining information on Rachel Cornell born before 1851, maybe England, Illinois or Wisconsin. She married Mitchell Handley. He was born in England. They had a daughter Lucy, born in 1851. Lucy wasn't sure if she was born in Iowa, Illinois or Wisconsin. It was stated differently on each document she filled out.
