I paid a visit to my ancestors graves this weekend and took pictures of the gravestones if anyone thinks they have a connection to these Coulters. The gravestones are for A.J (Andrew Jackson) Coulter, born July 27, 1838 and died Nov. 6, 1914. His first wife Angeline Reed was buried right next to his grave. She was born

Interesting that you couldn't find Ernest Coulter on the 1920 census
because I too could not find Fred Coulter, who was a Dr., there or his
wife. I have been trying to determine his date of death but so far
no luck. I know for sure his wife was alive in 1920 and they lived in
Marinette, WI. They had a son named Lloyd who died in Florida.
Originally from Canada, our line is spelt Colter, but I notice the
family members who moved to the US started spelling their name Coulter.
