Hello All., I just joined this list and it seemed a bit slow so I thought I would add something. I am descended from John Coulter(Colter, Coalter) of Greenbrier Co WV and wife Mary. They had chlildren: Sarah born about 1771, George born about 1775, Hannah, Mary, Jean, Robert, John and Moses. Sarah married Robert Snodgrass, George married Mary McClure, Hannah married Martin Delany, Robert married Peggy Ellis and Mary Erskine, Mary married James Brown, Jean married George Brown, John married Margaret Armstron

Looking for parents & or siblings of Archibald & George Coulter. George married Elizabeth Adams in 1849 ; had 2 sons; died 1853. Brother Archibald born 1813 in Uniontown,Fayett Co.,PA ;married brothers widow Elizabeth Adams Coulter and had 2 daughters; died 1876, Piedmont,MO. Both men were in Mexican War.
