Ruth,
Tell me more about your connection to the Coulter clan. I am a son of Levi
who had a brother named William. I am also the grandson of Levi who also had
a brother named William. The Coulter family I claim is well centered in
South Jersey although I do have at least one uncle who took his family to
Kansas. This leg of the family was in Texas the last I knew of them.
If it seems we are connected I will put you in touch with a cousin who has
done and is doing a lot with the family history.
Jack Coulter
I would love to have my great grandmother Nancy A. (Goodale) Coulter. I
would love to ask what happened to all the family members she is found
with in the Taylor County, Ga census. What happened to her brothers and
sisters, What was her father's name. She was married to Reuben Van
Coulter in Taylor Co., Ga.

Ruth,
I haven't used Rootsweb for a long time and I am having a bit of trouble
remembering how to post so please let me know if this works.
I am the son of a Levi who had a brother William. I am also the grandson of
a Levi who had a brother William. Our part of the Coulter clan is heavily
invested in South Jersey.
Is there a connection?
Sounds all right to me---I have company right now,so I will get back to you
later, OK?
Our Coulter's came directly from Ireland into the Boston area.
Talk to you later
Ruth

Hello All,
The multitude of information coming in is wonderful.
Thanks to everyone for sharing!
My personal choice would be my husband's Gr-grandfather,
who arrived in the USA in the 1860's. I would love
to hear, directly from him, why he chose to leave
Prussia - - and, why he decided to later leave Niagara
County, New York, in favor of Macon County, Missouri.
And, oh how interesting to hear him tell of his time of
fighting, with the Union, in the War Between the States.

Hello Everyone,
Those of us who live in the US, are celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend. With it being harder than ever to get everyone together, there will be special family gatherings from this evening (Wed) all the way through Sunday.
If you can find a little time, please tell us which of your ancestors (pertaining to this list's interest) you'd like to be able to visit with during your celebration. Let us know what things you'd like to discuss with this ancestor and why.
It would be wise to chan
