I would like to announce the new search engine for archived messages through rootsweb. You can go there via http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl Enter the name of the list you would like to search (it is NOT case sensitive) and on the next screen enter the names you are looking for...ex: Mary and Bradford (returns messages with both Mary and Bradford in the text) or type in (Mary and Bradford) and this will return hits with one or the other word in the message. For those of you who have access to the www, I would like to suggest that you pay a visit to Ancestry, Inc. Their main page is located at http://www.ancestry.com/ but the page I really recommend is their searchable databases. Some are free for a 10 day period, and others you have to pay $4.95 a month for unlimited searches.
