Hello Coventry,I am trying to trace a Hilda Rose Elizabeth Wood born in May 1923,parents Rose Wood nee Williamson and William Thomas Wood. She was born in Derbyshire and her sister was born 3 years later in Coventry but we cant find out what happened to Hilda. I have just got a death certificate which I thought might be her, but it is the wrong father. The family moved to Nottingham by 1926. I would be very grateful for any help.Thank you, Maggie.

Hi folks, There is a scammer/spammer making his rounds on the lists named Robert Cowan (and sometimes has gone as Mathew Cowan). He's basically trying to sell some books on Scot/Irish roots, but it's known that many of these books and publications (some are just brochures) are available from the Library of Congress a lot cheaper and even free than he is selling them for.
