1. Re: Letitia COVINGTON? COX, b. abt. 1725 - m. Gen. Evan SHELBY [1]
Hi, Many years ago I received a very confusing page from a"home genealogy". Just enough information in it has proven to be true that I am still pursuing it. I have been told by researchers that Gen. EVAN SHELBY was m. to LETITIA COX. In the genealogy to which I refer (above) LETITIA COVINGTON? COX (b. abt. 1725/NJ-1777/VA) w

6. Re: Emma Coventry [1]
Hi Jodie, Coventry is an English name originally seen as de Coventree or de Coventrie. At least one branch moved to Scotland prior to or about 1600, but I have never seen any evidence of any who came from mainland Europe. So far I have two Emma Coventrys in my file but neither fit your needs. One was born 1865 in Oneida co., NY but died in 1872 The other was born about 1887 and was living, unmarried, in Clinton co., NY 1920 Also no record of any Coventry in Sullivan or Delaware counties, but I am slowly
