1. [COVENTRY-L] word of the week....Military...need your help! [1]
Hello everyone! I have seriously been working my butt off all weekend on the rootsweb homepage. I have spent a total of about 20 hours on Sat. and Sun working on it and now all day today (not counted in the 20 hours). I was going through the DAR lineage books on the ancestry homepage (http://www.ancestry.com/ancestry/search.asp) and I got a great idea for a new addition to the homepage...Military ancestors with the surnames of my lists (below). Now, i have some info on Rev. war Bradfords, but that
2. [COVENTRY-L] Looking for two people from the list... [1]
Hi list. I am looking for two individuals who may, or may not, be list members to this list. If you are these people, or know these people, please contact me as they have info about my line that was submitted to either the Family History Centers or the Family Tree Maker disks: Robert Dean Coventry of Peoria Alice A. Wright of Effingham Thanks!:) By the way, for the rest of you, this line I am refering to is the Coventry family out of Richland Co., IL and possibly Harrison (or is that Washington) C
3. [COVENTRY-L] word of the week...common names [1]
NOTE: PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE IN ITS ENTIRITY!!! This week's phrase is "uncommon common name" :) What this means is in your line, if you have found any strange (or not so strange) names the occur often, post it to the list. I don't necessarily mean names like "John" or "William" (which is probably the most common male COVENTRY name), but if there are maybe four out of 7 people in your line named "Ezekiel" or "Jabez" (which is one in my Kendall line), then post those. It IS ok if you want to post
4. [COVENTRY-L] update for the word of the week [1]
Hello lists. I have seen some of the posts so far on the "uncommon common" names and I think some people have misunderstood what it is I was trying to get people to post. I didn't mean for you to post your most uncommon name, I was trying to get people (which most of you have basically so far) to post uncommon names that reoccur in your lines. Like the example I used with Jabez, which is not that common, the line started out with Jabez, his son was also Jabez(2), and the grandson of Jabez(2) was a
5. [COVENTRY-L] Coventry City U/K please read [1]
Hi, I am at present trying to get as much information on the surname , it appears that no one has ever done this before ! , I go to the Coventry records office about twice a week and was a bit shocked that they have not got a report/thesis on the surname, being a member of the Coventry Family History Society I ask Roger Vaughan (the cities Archivist) about the information required (Oh they will be going on line very soon ) and have made it my next project , the last was collecting all the strays fr

7. [COVENTRY-L] double message problem [1]
>Hello, Erin! I'm receiving double messages from our ELLER list. >Should I "Unsubscribe" once - and see what happens? Grateful for all >you do...Julie You know Julie, I've been having the exact same problem myself and I'm not sure what is going on, but I'm pretty sure if you were to unsub once, you wouldn't get ANY mail. For the time being, i'd suggest to just stay subbed and trash the 2nd copy and I will do my best to find out what is going on. I'm pretty sure it's a bug in the rootsweb system
