Geraldine Mary McGarry Creel went home to be with the Lord on Thursday,
November 13, 2008. Mrs. Creel passed away at her home. She was 83 years old.
A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie Manor for 6 years.
Beloved wife of the late Bill Creel. Mother of Linda Creel Treadaway, Sharon
Creel Tatum and the late William Gerald Creel. Mother-in-law of Curtis
Treadaway. Sister of Robert, Willie and John and the late Harold, Alphonse,
Caroline and Anna Mae.

Elvin D. Creel, a retired electrician, died Wednesday, May 9,
2007, at his home in Baton Rouge. He was 74 and a native of
Bogalusa. Mr. Creel was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean
conflict. He went to public schools until he joined the U.S. Navy
at age 17. He served 3? years in the Navy and then went into the
Navy Reserves as a teacher, serving four years. He married Velma

Biloxi businessman and civic leader Joseph L. "Joe" Creel died Friday,
February 27, 2004, in Biloxi. He was 78.
Creel was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He attended Biloxi
High School, Perkinston Junior College and Tulane University in New
Orleans before entering the U.S. Navy in 1944.

James Creel of Hackley, died at his home, Wednesday September 6th. Born
in Jones Co., Miss. 8-19-1849, he came to Washington Parish at the age
of 15.
He married Emily Blackwell 46 years ago. His aged wife, two sons, John
and Wiley, 3 daughters, Mary, Nancy, Cyntha, all of whom married Thomas'
survived him. Also, 2 sisters, one being Holly McBryant.
He was a member of the Lawrence Creek Baptist Church. Interment at the
Nobles graveyard. Rev. C.T. Corkern conducted the services.
