Is there on the 1820 or 1830 census a William Johnson listed as a head of
household anywhere in New London County, who listed as his place of birth
Scotland or perhaps England? By 1820 he would have had at least one adult
female (his wife) living with him, by 1830 there would have been at the very
least one minor male, and perhaps several minor males and females in
addition.
TIA,
-Pat. Wary
They are still there in Norwich and Lyme 1830...write me directly so I
know where this is going ahead of time and maybe I can save you time and

Just to tie this up, I am interested in the 1830 census for both James
Johnson in Norwich and James C. Johnson in Lyme. In addition, I would
appreciate info on any Johnson in Lyme in 1830 who had at least one male 10
or under.

all Census years with a hit for 1860, 1910 and 1920, only 1860 returns
what you all ready have. So Cassimer Rochelle, must be indexed with a
different given name that does not begin Cas and the same for the
surname beginning with Roc for 1850.
And I see i
Thanks, Doc for the William Johnson response. That turned out to be a wild

Hi Pat,
Sorry for sending through the list, I was not able to send directly to

I am not ignoring you, I had Microsoft issues and was trying to resolve
working with Microsoft, but unfortunately I had to perform a complete
destructive system recovery. I got tired of waiting on MS for a
solution to a few issues I was experiencing. So this system is back up
to speed and I can now read your response to where you are headed with
the search for James W. Johnson.
