I didn't get 2 of 3 either and I didn't see an answer to this. Is 2 or 3
going to be posted? Thanks for posting the others.

I've posted section 2 twice - once Wednesday night and again
Thursday evening. I've gotten it back from the list both times. Did
it get out to everyone else at all?

I am doing a one name study on the name COVEY. If anyone has run

I am interested in finding the ancestors of my daughters's on their fathers
side. I have very limited information on the GONCIARZ side, some of
which is listed below. When Stephen came to the United States, his name
was misspelled, and he never corrected it. If you are related, and are
interested in exchanging information please email me at pfinn@rcsis.com
Thank you for any information you can give me. Phyllis Finn

Thanks, Averill, for the correction. I believe that the note about her
surname being RAY was one that

Robert,
This sounds great -- the ancestors I am looking for are "Whitmores."
Seth, Oliver and Jabez to name a few. Thought it very intriguing that your
book originally belonged to a Whitmore.

Hi Ward,
Mumm -- maybe we connect.
Middlesex County family researchers,
I have an original copy of John Warner Barber's Connecticut Historical
Collections and would be willing to post a series of scanned images on
my home page so that they are available for download. There are about 33
pages.
Please let me know if this would be of interest to you.

p.s. This copy of the book appears to have originally belonged to a P.D.
Whitmore.
Hello, Cuz --
I'm no help with Mary Bacon, but I *can* give you Oliver Wetmore's
line.
Thomas1 > Izrahiah2 > Judge Seth3 > Deacon Oliver4 who m. Sarah
Brewster,
a desc. of Elder Wm. Brewster of Mayflower fame.
I believe ....
Deacon Oliver's mother was Hannah> Whitmore, a desc. of
Francis Whitmore of Cambridge and thus Judge Seth's cousin.
(Judge Seth m. 2d, Hannah Edwards, sister of the Rev. Jonathan
Edwards, the famous preacher.)
Continuing the line is interesting:
Deacon Oliver4 > the Rev. Oliver5
Faith,
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the P.D. Whitmore who was the
original owner of the Barber book. I bought it from a dealer in Maine.
I hope you enjoy the Middlesex County excerpt.
Regards,
Robert

There is a book REFUGEES OF LONG ISLAND TO CT. It sounds like those ancesters
of yours could be mentioned in the book. The British were taking crops and
animals from the farmers on Long Island for there supplies so the people got
local fisherman to bring them to CT.I do not have the book but have seen it.
Hi,
I'm doing a family tree for myself and my husband. I'm looking for
information on John and Emma (Tyler) Scott, born in 1887. Any info would be

Hello,
I am researching my family and I believe that I come from the HEACOCK'S that
resided in Durham, Ct. in 1680 on.........
Would anyone have information?
Anyone researching the same family?
Any ideas?
I would love to share information.
My great great grandfather was JAMES HEACOX. He was born in New York 1828 I
think. His parents died and he was left an orphan......at least family
records indicate this. I have not had any luck in my search for his parents.
I found JAMES HEACOX in Ohio in 1845 when at
Jane,
Thanks so much for your fine work in posting the births of Middletown.
What a time consuming effort - You deserve more than just a thank you.
I have not seen section 2 of 3 for the births, hope you can get it onto
the list. It is full of information on my families, the Wetmore/Whitmores,
the Bacons and the Halls.
Thank you again,
Faith A. Benner
> The following is an experiment.
Well, I said it was an experiment.. in an effort to keep everything
from running together the way it sometimes does when mailed to
the list, I replaced the tabs between fields with dots - but that made
the email addresses pick up some of the other information
(sometimes all of it).. ... I'll fix that next time around, but in
the meantime, be careful of just clicking on an address to reach a
cousin.. Sorry
