This is probably of no impotance to you, but while conducting historical and genealogical research of two of my last names, "de la Torre" and "de Hita," i discovered that the village of Hita, located about 20 miles from Guadalajara, Spain, was a booming Jewish community in Spain (1000s, 1100, 1200s, etc), and that Samuel Levm was actually the "controller - principal accountant" of the Kingdom of Castilla for some time.
