G'day,
Bartosz Czarnik was kind enough to send us the following info in regard
to the search for info on Apolonia Czarnik. While immediate success
appears minimal, there is some interesting information on Poland's
history.
(You can see some more history summary on "PolandWebGen - Podkarpackie
Province - Structure" located at
http://www.tovegin.com.au/podkarpackie/structure.htm)
We, like Bartosz, found multiple Zaborsw and similar Zaborowo. In the

G'day all in the "Interested in Czarnik surname" mailing list,
A couple of days ago we got a request asking for information about a
lady - Aplonia Czarnik. Rather then explain it all third hand; we have
enclosed the text of a series of messages. The originator of the
request is now part of the "interested in Czarnik surname" mailing list
but has requested that any feedback for this come through us. So just
reply to this message if you think any info you might have might bear
some relevance. Then shoul
Bartosz,
No worries. We understand. Thanks for getting back to us.
When next you write, let us know a little about your family and where
you and they live, etc.

Hello,
I am the Great Grand-Son of John Stanly Czarnecki b. 27 Feb 1874 in
WestFalia, Germany. He came to the US in 1890 or 1889. He settled in
Erie, Pennsylvania and was a Police Officer for 28 years. I have been
looking for him for some time now. I cannot find him in any church
records. I was told recently he came from WestFalia. Can you please
put me in touch with any research or church society from WestFalia that
can help me find my Great Grand Father.
Thank You
Kenneth R. Czarnecki
