2. Don't Rush [1]
Liz, Please take your time and do it the way you want to do it. We'll wait. Marion Smith Whiting
3. RE: [Clooz] public beta coming? [1]
All Good things take time, Gary. Give Liz and her programmers time to give us a program they can be proud of and one we will enjoy using without a lot of head aches, unlike some programs I have that are two versions ahead of the one I am using and they still don't have all the bugs out of my version. Family Tree Maker came out with a new version every six months; it didn't have any thing new it just fixed the bugs in the previous one. 5. Clooz Final Beta Test--Finally! [1]
OK, the final beta is up on my website for you to download. You can click here to download ftp://ancestordetective.com/pub/setup.exe or you can download from www.clooz.com. Feel free to play with the program and convert your database or import a GEDCOM. You can now use Clooz with Legacy 6.0. Instructions for using Clooz 2.0 are in Clooz Help. This final beta will expire on 15 April 2006, so feel free to input data until then, but realize this is a beta version and you should not enter data you don't
6. 2.0 Download [1]
Anybody have trouble downloading the Beta Clooz? I get a message Error reading setup Initialization file. It took 18 hours to download the first time; I have a dial up connection and not the best phone lines in the world but have never taken that long to download anything. Second try took about eight and half hours and still get the same message. My next step is to go to the public Library and download on high speed connection. Any Clooz (:>))) to what, besides the poor dial up, that may be my problem.

10. RE: [Clooz] public beta coming? [1]
I apologize for the delay. Nothing with the programming of version 2 has gone on the schedule that I would have preferred. I couldn't get the final beta to even install on my computer so I couldn't upload it. We're still working out some of the details with that. Problem is that we had to purchase a new version of Install Shield and it came with a bunch of bugs itself and my programmers have had their hands full figuring out those bugs. Compound that problem with the fact that I'm out of town and wor
11. Take your time [1]
Liz, I agree with Marion - take your time - since I have programming experience (many years ago) I know how difficult it is to get the bugs out - and get it running - so take the time you need. A great program like Clooz is worth waiting for. Cheryl
12. Clooz 2 update [1]
Will Clooz 123 still be supported after the release of the new version? If so, for how long? Judy in Ocala
13. Re: [Clooz] Clooz 2 update [1]
The upgrade is $20 with no shipping right now. When it's publicly released, shipping charges will be added. Clooz is only guaranteed to work with Windows XP and 2003. It may work on Windows 2000, but we can't guarantee that. At 06:50 AM 3/11/2006, Glenny~~Capriella wrote: >I Have missed a lot..how much is it?
