Would anyone have the inscriptions from Dunmanway Cemetery?
I am looking for the inscription on the headstone of a man called DAWKINS, buried in either a FORDE-DAWKINS or DAWKINS-FORDE plot.
Mr. Dawkins was from Ballyshane near Cloyne, Co. Cork.

Aghadoe is a townland just north of Killeagh (between Midleton & Youghal).
Registrar's District is either YOUGHAL or MIDLETON. They seem to meet around
this area.
I will e-mail you privately with a short note on this family.

Please remind us, Bob, whether you checked the index to Irish births
already.
You can view it at an LDS Family History Center and then order the
certificate.
Wait until you get pre-1830 to talk about brick walls. :>}

County Cork. I cannot find it on the map, would anyone know where this is,
and what would the Registrar District be? I am going to Ireland next week and

Greetings to genealogists in County Cork from one in N.Z.
My Gt.Grandmother, Catherine HENNESSY, born Kanturk 1832, died1912 in Wellington N.Z.
Her parents were Richard HENNESSY [ farmer ] and Mary Ann GLOVER.
I have always understood that she was "transported" to Australia where in 1859 she married William Dix BARNES at Ballarat.
In spite of many years research in Australia and Ireland, I can find no reference to her on any convict listings and as a last resort am wondering if she had any siblings left in

Graham,
The smallish townland of Clonfert lies about a mile SW of Newcastle town.
Its easternmost border is the River Dalua, and it extends its 260 acres to
the west from there - and across the road from Newcastle to Boherboy. There
appear to be no churches or church ruins in this townland, but there is an
old burial ground.

As a non-lawyer, but a book collector hobbyist, most of my Mass. law and

Daniel OBRIEN was born 8 Jan 1839 in County Cork to JOHN OBRIEN and
Margaret DONOVAN. The place is unknown, but Daniel's son was born in
Ross Carberry, so he may have been born in that area too.
Daniel married Mary Ellen BARNETT probably about 1860. Born in Ireland
were Honora, 29 Sept 1861, Margaret 1864, Daniel Jr 1869, Nellie
(probably Ellen) and at least one other sister.
Honora and Margaret came to the US 1883.

Would anyone know whether Mallow Heritage Center offers full or just partial
service to genealogical enquirers? I sent away last year for a list of my
family's christenings in Cork but I would like a Comprehensive Family History

might I get a report of the same quality? I would ask them myself but I
couldn't find an email address on their website. Thank you in advance for
your help. Bill O'Loughlin
