I have a Charlotte Christine Hougaard b1813 cophenhagen Denmark. Married
1836 (Fredricksburg) Hans Neilsen With b about 1808. Their children Hans
Carl With b 1842 & Hulda (maybe mathilde) Camilla With 1844.
I have found them on the Danish Census 1845, but nothing else.
Can anyone help out?

Julius Hougaard arrived in Sydney 11 Dec 1852 on board the Cesar Godeffroy
(from Hamburg), he left behind his wife Christiane & child(ren) Ludvig
Wilhelm Julius b1843, Waldemar Oscar b1845, Laura Charlotte b1852 &

I am researching my family history. My GG Grandfather Julius Hougaard b
24/12/1820 Cophenhagen d 1878 in Sydney Australia. Married in Denmark 1842
Christiane Galle, they had a couple children, nothing definate. Julius
emigrated to Australia in 1852 leaving his wife & Children behind. in 1854
he changed is name to Hogarth, 1858 married Charlotte Tegg, they had 7
children.
Julius parents were Jorgan Christian Hougaard & Charlotte Katrine Lauden(tz)
married 1811 Copenhagen, his siblings Ch
Firstly, if you paid for a death cert and its hard to read, I have been told
to write back and DEMAND a decent copy (they have to do that!)
Also, I THINK Necropolis would mean Rookwood.. I wil search again for
variations..

The trascript (and it is from the SAG rookwood cd) definitely says she died
21 Jan 1970 aged 92. Don't forget the head stone CAN be wrong! My husbands
GG Grandfather, Willian David ROFF has a newly erected headstone, by
relatives in UK who put the money together to get it done... Sadly (and I
have not told them the error!) got Willam JOHN ROFF !!
So if you have a source of birth (eg birth certificate), take that to be
right, as that is the primary source. The birth date, off a headstone, is
only a secondar

Thank you for checking again, it seems i had it all wrong, again. Looks like
i will be ordering another certificate.
Julius died 1879 in Chippendale, sydney NSW, his death cert is very hard to
read (i think i has ben copied a few times before i got my copy), as far as
i can tell there is no Cemetry listed, but i think the word "Necropolis" is
listed as to where he is buried.
Some time soon i will be getting a copy of Charlotte's death cert., but she
died 1885 in Darlington. Hopefully i

I don't know if she stopped other places before coming to Iowa, but she
was married here in 1885. There are no family records and on the first
part of her two-part marriage license application, she gives her name as
Marie Jessen. However, written over her surname, up in the right-hand
corner, is written Forson or Torson. However, on the second part of the
application (filled out by the minister) only the name Marie Jessen is
